Robin York has been the owner of York Drafting and Design for the past 23 years; determining financial objectives, preparing and implementing systems, policies and procedures to facilitate internal and external financial control. She managed payroll for employees, budget business costs, and prepared quarterly tax prep.In addition, Robin York is experienced in overseeing many different aspects of development for single family residential, master planned communities, recreational facilities, commercial complexes, schools, and light commercial projects. She works well with the government agencies in finding out what is needed for the project and getting the job done. She prepares Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet schedules and oversees projects to stay within their designated budgets.One of York Drafting and Design clients in 2004 was ABC Extreme Makeover Home Edition. She worked with producers to select and determine a budget for each project. She created the design and plans for six of their homes for the television show. She determined the integrity of the house and what could be added on and remodeled. She saw the plans through plan check and supervised the building construction on site always making sure we stayed within the budget.With experience in civil engineering, architecture and structural, from working with individual homeowners to being part of a team with large firms, Robin York brings a wide range of knowledge and understanding of the coordination needed in developing projects. As a Project Engineer she has the capabilities of seeing each project from its initial design through its final completion.
