Sold retail products, goods and services to buyers and decision makers in retail stores. Responsible for collaborating with buyers to find out what they wanted, creating solutions, and ensuring a smooth sales process. Responsible to call on all decision-makers to sell business plans, programs and concepts that improved long-term business results, achieving competitively superior in-store presence in assigned stores.Responsibility for demonstrating products and showing store staff how to maximize their features by explaining different customizable features. Submitted orders by referring to price lists and product literature and kept management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses. Responsible for monitoring competition of sale, by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques. Responsible for rotating stock, cleaning and stocking displays and price merchandising as appropriate and checked date codes, ensuring adherence to approved plan-o-gram.Recommended changes to management on products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments. Responsible for resolving customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management about issues. Worked with stores on all special projects such as demos, trade events, remodels, and new store openings.Maintained professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
