Lead Early Childhood Educator
- Designed and implemented curriculum for Polliwog Preschool for the 2016-2017 schoolyear. Co-taught with ECE Program Coordinator.- Successfully taught both a spring and fall 8-week session of parent-child program, "Tadpole Tots".- Assisted in the creation of two new preschool-family extension events, including a Night Walkand a trip to the Pacific Science Center.- Provided crucial input in the creation of the Polliwog Preschool 2017-2018 budget.- Led tours around the facility to prospective families- Conducted fall and spring parent-teacher conferences, evaluating individual student’s progress- Drastically improved the organization of the space and supplies of the early childhood programs- Completed several nature-themed sewing projects including skill frames for basic life skills andpillowcases- Maintained a positive relationship between the City of Bellevue and the Pacific Science Center- Recorded video and photographs of each class’s activities for every class. Labeled, sorted andcompiled individual photo albums for students at the end of the year.- Wrote weekly newsletters to preschool families with photos detailing the class’ activities- Mentored 36 unique 3-5 year olds to engage, understand and connect with nature - Provided administrative and technical support to volunteers and part-time staff - Became a member of the WaNPA, the Washington’s Nature Preschool Association
