Managing and executing the daily agenda for the Chief of Staff, effectively communicating with Senate staff and outside parties to maximize the Chief’s time • Acting as the liaison between the Chief of Staff and a team of 45 people to identify high priority issues and address concerns and appeals • Vetting all incoming DC meeting requests with the Chief of Staff, coordinating logistics for the Senator’s meetings with the Director of Scheduling, referring outside parties to the appropriate Legislative Aide • Researching and preparing briefing papers for meetings with the Senator, the Chief and stakeholders • Tracking Legislative Decision Memos, expediting approval for time-sensitive documents • Composing correspondence and invitations for a broad range of events

• Planned and executed all aspects of successful fundraising events and meetings in DC, Cincinnati, Atlanta, Detroit, LA, and Seattle, researched and choose venue, selected and sent invitations, implemented logistics and agenda, and served as site advance• Arranged individual meetings for the AUL President with major donors and prospects in cities across the country, serving as personal aide and spokesperson in all travel• Briefed the AUL President for important meetings, researched and summarized the most relevant information• Coordinated major donor appeal calls for the AUL President and Senior Counsel• Communicated with donors and key stakeholders – wrote thank you letters, recorded contributions, solved online donation problems, and sent donors pertinent information• Assumed responsibility for AUL’s participation in the Combined Federal Campaign 2011 – gathered all necessary data and completed the application for the national campaign as well as selective state campaigns • Strategically targeted key donors and prospects based on giving history and online research to meet qualifications for the budget
