CurrentI co-founded AliveAndKickn in response to a family member's Lynch Syndrome diagnosis, with a mission to raise awareness and provide support for the Lynch Syndrome patient community. Over the past 12 years, I have transformed this grassroots initiative into a nationally-recognized patient advocacy organization, earning recognition from both researchers and clinicians.🚀 Key Achievements and Responsibilities:• Strategic Leadership: Formulated and executed the strategic direction of the organization, adeptly identifying market trends and leveraging opportunities to allocate resources effectively.• Program Development: Designed and implemented impactful programming while creating robust financial models to enhance brand visibility and secure funding resources.• Industry Relationships: Fostered strong relationships within the biotech, genetic, and oncology sectors through cross-functional collaboration with industry partners and academic institutions.• Social Media Marketing: Devised and executed successful social media marketing strategies, including digital newsletters reaching thousands of patients and professionals.• Patient Advocacy: Played a pivotal role in grant writing for academic institutions, collaborating with researchers and industry partners during clinical trials as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and strategic resource for participant recruitment.• Community Engagement: Actively served as a representative on the GI Cancer Alliance, EAO-CRC summit steering committee, Friends of Cancer Research, and NCCRT.• Public Speaking: Shared insights and expertise at the NY State Genetics Task Force and multiple symposiums.My commitment lies in making a positive impact on the lives of those affected by hereditary cancer syndromes through education, support, and advocacy.
