A highly experienced asset management professional with a background in strategic projects, change management and technology leadership. During the last 28 years I have developed a broad and deep knowledge of the global asset management business, covering a wide range of the business functions and across many asset classes.I have performed a variety of roles including project management, business consultancy, technology leadership and application development. Most recently my focus has been on delivering large scale, complex projects to satisfy Regulatory change. These projects have required close interaction with experts in Legal and Compliance, training the business teams on new processes and systems, and co-ordination with technology development teams in multiple offices around the world.I am very knowledgeable on the Aladdin system, having been involved in business migrations onto the platform for many businesses. I have enhanced this knowledge delivering change for the AIFMD, UCITS, SFTR, MIFID II and Cost Disclosure regulations. My experience of the Aladdin database and application ecosystem allows me to troubleshoot issues quickly; and perform custom data analysis on very large datasets that span all businesses, portfolios, and clients.Earlier in my career, I was responsible for leading 3 teams of application developers supporting the middle and back office functions. Having been promoted from a development role, I managed the teams and liaised closely with business managers to design and build a scalable, highly automated suite of applications that covered all the business teams’ responsibilities. Through my technology background I have built up a strong skillset of SQL, SYBASE databases, UNIX and several other technologies.
