Following redundancy in December 2014, my main activity during this period was looking for a new opportunity, focussing on the financial services and mortgage sectors.During this period, I took the opportunity to obtain my PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioners exams. • Strategic relationship management role, having responsibility for managing and developing mutually beneficial relationships and Protection product initiatives on behalf of Legal & General (L&G) and its strategic.
• Successfully secured distribution of L&G’s Income Protection Benefit product through Nationwide’s Financial Planning channel, enhancing the range of L&G protection products distributed through Nationwide, and further.
• Successful secured distribution of L&G’s Individual Annuity products to the Nationwide Annuity Panel Proposition. Business lead for the tender, site visits, contract negotiations and delivery.
• Successful renewal of the Protection Distribution Agreement with Nationwide, further extending our strategic partnership. Business lead for the tender & delivery, and supported the deal team with all aspects of the.

• Migrated Nationwide onto the Investor Portfolio Service platform (L&G’s tied Cofunds powered platform), moving them from 6 to 21 funds.
• Delivered an ISA’ble structured deposit product across advised and non-advised distribution channels, increasing tranche sales tenfold, whilst maintaining operational & contractual SLA’s.
• Delivered L&G’s Portfolio Bond to Nationwide’s Financial Planning division, enhancing the range of L&G savings products distributed through Nationwide, and further deepening the level our strategic partnership.
• Delivered performance against Target of: o 256% in 2009 (296% growth on 2008) o 134% in 2010 (142% growth on 2009)
• Nominated for and attended the Divisional 2010 Performance Forum.Barclays:

• Recognised as the business subject matter expert on L&G's Launchpad Point of Sale system, seconded to the programme launching the new strategic partnership with Nationwide Building Society.
• Lead and ensured that the ‘Launchpad’ Point of Sale system delivery, met the agreed requirements of NBS and L&G, and provided the best user experience possible.
• Ensured that the L&G Network (LGPSL), L&G Employed Sales Force and Tied Wealth channels were fairly represented in the development of the Launchpad POS system, and that it remained fit for purpose for their existing.
• Developed comprehensive POS System training workshop material for NBS advisors and supervisors, including development and delivery of train the trainer material, and a comprehensive user guide.
• Worked with the NBS distribution project to provide all necessary help and expertise to enable a successful and compliant sales process implementation.

• Head Office business unit role, responsible for the Operating Procedures, Mortgage & Protection Advice Standards for the L&G Mortgage Network.
• Owned and maintained the Mortgage and Protection Advice Standards and Operating Procedures for all LGPSL tied businesses & L&G’s Employed Sales Force advisors, under the then new ICOB & MCOB regulatory regimes.
• Owned and maintained business and regulatory application of the Launchpad Point of Sale System, including provision of a telephone help desk function for POS usability queries.
• Impacted Regulatory Change and Risk for the LGPSL network, delivering required changes to ensure our businesses operated successfully under the required regulations.
• Managed a team of 8 (4 direct reports).

Reporting to the Head of Business Support, supporting our tied distribution partners in thier understanding and application of the Operating Procedures & Advice Standards for the L&G Network (LGPSL). Also providing external user & internal development of L&G's Launchpad Point of Sale System.

• Working with business owners and senior management to develop and grow their mortgage related protection & general insurance, and investment sales.
• Sales management and direct supervision of a team of mortgage, protection and investment advisors, developing their business levels and ensuring compliant sales.
• Finished 7th in the country for performance against target and qualified for the divisional Performance Forum in Dublin.
