Hello, nice to meet you! My name is Robin, and 22 years ago I founded Encon as a company specialized in sustainability projects for companies. In 2002 I teamed up with a former professor to found an engineering company active in energy-saving for industry. Guiding companies all the way from feasibility study up to the realisation of cost-saving projects, Encon served clients ranging from middle-sized companies to leading international industrial companies, and this all over Europe. Due to ever increasing demands for Encon’s services in the Netherlands, in 2011 We founded Encon Nederland.In 2018, we built Infinity – one of the most sustainable (office) buildings in Europe. In our new home, we created the opportunity to inspire by example. With our own wind turbine in our backyard, we became a leading European engineering company to help companies develop their own wind projects.Though energy is what put me on the path to where I am, I am now excited to advocate for a much broader definition of sustainability and all of the opportunities it offers to businesses. Today, Encon is a fast-growing independent company that enables companies to grow by investing in sustainability. It makes me incredibly proud and more motivated than ever, to realize that we live in a time where we no longer have to choose between doing what’s right for the world, and what’s good for our businesses.
