Managed furniture division for largest optical lab network in the United States that specialized in providing custom furniture and design to ophthalmic offices. Managed multiple projects at one time utilizing CAD to outline/design floor plans and designing furniture to go into new spaces. Designed all custom furniture pieces with specifications making them ready for production by fabricator. Oversaw contract with Army Air Force Exchange Services (AAFES) in addition to other nationwide projects. Personally made initial contact with doctor or staff and approved new bids for AAFES and private practices. Coordinated projects from initial bid through contract, design and actual installation. Completed over 30 installations while with company. Maintained quality control efforts and improved overall end product by working closely with fabricators, holding routine pre and post-fabrication meetings to discuss any issues holding fabricators accountable for errors and performing consistent follow up.
