About Robin Channell
I have 25 years of management experience, running the day to day operations for an independent Satellite Uplink Company. My duties consisted of handling logistics for all bookings and getting both the Satellite Trucks and Television Crews on site in order to make the live news happen. Our customers were mostly national news and sports outlets (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CNN, ESPN, etc). This job kept me on my toes daily as it often involved middle of the night calls to get a truck and crew to the site of anything from a tornado to an Emu on the loose along a busy highway. Sadly, technological advances made us nearly obsolete and I decided to make a career change in 2019. I moved to Autosoft DMS in 2019 and have been going strong since. My position as an Accounting Support Specialist allows me to spend my days helping our customers resolve issues. I enjoy helping them resolve both system and self-induced problems and teaching them how to get the most from our software. I also train new teammembers and enjoy creating customized teaching materials for my team to use.
