Coming onboard to backfill as the primary IT Business Analyst on an in-progress Credit Implementation project leveraged my strengths as a conscientious self-starter to rapidly acquire information and effectively collaborate with Business Subject Matter Experts, Stakeholders, Vendors and various IT Architecture, Infrastructure and Support groups. My responsibilities included gathering requirements, documenting to-be business processes, data entities, business reporting and contributing to the training and support materials. Additionally, I was accountable for Quality Assurance of the delivered product by defining the test strategy, documenting test cases, planning then executing multiple test cycles with the support of the Business Stakeholders as testers and finally managing the defects that resulted from testing activities.

My responsibilities as eCommerce Specialist on Shell MarketHub included gathering high level, sometimes ambiguous, business strategies and then articulating them as requirements in a technical manner that was easily understood by my internal and external IT partners. I received recognition from leadership for driving disciplined project & cost management, setting timelines and managing project risks which contributed to the successful delivery of this multi year project that elevated the B2B experience for customers in 20+ languages for each of Shell’s global markets.

As part of DS1 (the largest single business transformation program in the world), I was responsible for all JDE and ChemSAP manufacturing data preparations by coordinating data cleanse activities, collaborating with SAP deploy team to successfully execute data conversions into SAP and developing cut over plans and strategy. I also contributed to the successful SAP go-live by generating enthusiasm and building a shared vision for the transition and the new business processes by acting as a change agent at the Manufacturing sites.

As a BSM, I acted as the interface between IT & the Canadian Downstream B2B businesses (Aviation, Marine, LPG). My responsibilities include delivering IT strategies to the business, deploying global IT initiative to the business & acting as focal point for any issues dealing with end-to-end delivery of IT services (operations and projects) in support of business needs and initiatives.

Provide technical and business analysis in the development and maintenance of eBusiness applications in the Shell Canada eCommerce portfolio. Also, chaired the eBusiness Developer forum which allowed eBusiness Developers to the share learnings, innovations and best practices.

Developed complex reports, forms and business functions for JDE OneWorld in the area of Finance and Sales Order Processing. Also, instructed the JDE OneWorld Developer and IBM DB2 SQL Shell inhouse training courses in addition to chairing the OneWorld Developer forum which allowed OneWorld Developers to the share learnings, innovations and best practices.

Worked with the Commercial Fuels and LPG businesses to gather requirement so to be able to define and create SOA integrations using webMethods to integrate Shell's latest externally facing eCommerce site "NGL Online" to Shell's internal ERP system

Provided technical JDE expertise as part of a Shell Global project initiative when Royal Dutch Shell decided to enter the arena of web enabled B2B eCommerce
