What does finding the perfect internship entail? It requires an expert who knows the market, has a strong pool of employer partners, and works tirelessly to create a perfect intern/mentor match. It requires spending quality time getting to know and coaching students to prepare them for their internship. It requires my professional expertise. Students and parents agree. Last summer, I worked with an student who interned at a well-known private school for blind students. While there, he developed a push app designed to provide real time notification of campus happenings. Impressed with this student's work, the school invited the student to return for a second internship. Recently, a parent called to tell me that, when her daughter introduced herself at Cornell's accepted students day, the admissions representative replied "I remember you - you interned at ____ last summer!"
