About Robin Deane
I theoretically retired from my housing career in July 2024, and am now busier than ever. I've joined erosh's accreditation team and am using my experience to help organisations improve their older people's housing. I'm exhibiting and sometimes selling prints, paintings and drawings. My musical doppelganger Graye Craggs is working on new music and producing music for others.Looking back, I have forty years experience in community development and housing, including roles in neighbourhood management, regeneration, partnerships and performance. Most recently, I was Southern Housing's head of independent living services for older people - covering 141 sheltered and extra care schemes rated “outstanding”. Southern Housing is one of the UK's top housing associations with 77,000 homes in London, the South of England and Midlands, and a truly great place to work.
