Sittard-Geleen, a city situated in the south of the Netherlands, revealed a brand new and quality pop centre in March 2014. The venue will focus on live & dance music from talented (inter)national artists, but also provide a professional stage for local talent.Together with the well known agency FUTURON, we got selected to work on the brand image of this pop centre by turning the venue to a strong brand. Besides the brand development, we also focussed on the logo and complete brand identity; a strategy to select enthusiastic volunteers and finally; a strategy to involve the city in a great way.▇ www.poppodium-volt.nl

'De Effenaar' is one of the biggest and best rated pop venues in the Netherlands, located in Eindhoven. While living in Eindhoven, I enjoyed their diverse musical program every now and then. End 2011, 'De Effenaar' got in touch and invited me to organise, design and brand a new night. This new event got branded as 'SAW' and quickly turned into one of the biggest bass nights in the south of the Netherlands. We made a strong brand around the SAW events, online and offline, and booked the biggest names in the genre. Within months we had more than thousand plus followers and even hosted our own stage at Extrema Outdoor Festival. The impact was great and I enjoyed seeing that many people having a good time. While being a Design Academy Eindhoven student, I was selected to work on several projects and events of the academy; Managing, organizing and designing concepts for several graduation ceremonies and events, leading the organization of introduction camps for three years; move to Milan, Italy, to build the academy's design exposition during the Salone del Mobile for three years in a row.
