I studied Secondary Education and Mathematics at Boston College because I wanted to be High School Math teacher, helping kids enrich their lives. Well, that never happened outside of college. Instead I embarked on a life-long ‘training mission’ in the world of Information Technology. I have found over the course of my career that I have been able to offer my knowledge (educate) and experience to many different people as a colleague, team member, project leader, manager, and director.I am a problem-solver and enjoy finding solutions to unique challenges. I understand the powerful impact of data. I have effectively led technical teams to deliver complex solutions, working across development, business and clinical teams to evaluate requirements and recommend technologies that meet business needs. I have been a programmer, a business analyst, a systems analyst, an IDMS database analyst, an application manager and an application director. I have been fortunate to work for some phenomenal people who have guided me and I, in turn, have shared my experience with others. I have extensive experience in the healthcare insurance industry with a pharmacy retrospective drug utilization (RDUR) application designed to improve the health and safety of over 6 million members and avoid drug costs. The project team ranged from 3-12 individuals in business analyst, QA analyst, PowerBuilder developer and Oracle/PLSQL developer roles. My style is to be hand-on with an emphasis on analysis, problem solving and data.Let’s solve problems together!

Migrated 230 Korn shell scripts, 23 control files, 38 SQL files, and the Crontab, and coordinated the critical timing of inbound file FTPs with no impact to the user or the batch cycle. -
