- Built the first Mandiant Security Operations Centre outside the US. This involved vetting, interviewing and hiring all of the security specialists tasked to work in our Security Operations Centre (SOC). My mission was to deliver excellence and peace of mind to our clients. - Planned and executed the EMEA SOC infrastructure build, establishing the day to day standard operating procedures and working with peers in the US and APJ to establish a first in class follow the sun operation to protect our clients 24/7.- Working in the Mandiant Managed Defense organisation, I was responsible for our EMEA Managed Incident Response team. They are experts in the detection, containment, and response to Advanced Persistent Threats including state sponsored and criminal actors.

Managing a team of engineers across Windows, UNIX, Network and Configuration Management. Working with a global follow the sun team of management, peers and reports, with an emphasis on 24/7 service operations and delivery focused on 99.99% uptime. Responsible for production and the ensured delivery of billions of messages per year for our clients.

After successfully completing many major projects within Infrastructure I was asked to move into the project management team in Epsilon's New York office. I worked on various infrastructure, software and capacity planning projects, collaborating with all the technical teams. The skills and technical knowledge I gained working hands on with the infrastructure of the organization gives me insight into projects that allows me to quickly identify and remove obstacles and drive them to completion.

I was asked to move to the US and take up and take up a role managing the Windows and Network teams for the email marketing aspect of the business including 300 Windows systems and 100 Network devices Globally. In this role I was asked to standardise the processes for the identification, escalation and resolution of any issues in both the Windows and Networking teams using pre-determined Key Performance Indicators. I worked closely with the rest of the management team to evaluate and allocate budgets for my teams and strictly adhere to them. I was also responsible for all our ISPs globally and our vendor relationships. Subsequently I worked with Epsilon's Global infrastructure team to integrate our systems with theirs before handing off the systems to the Compliance and Infrastructure teams. During this time I had 6 Engineers reporting to me in both the EU and in the US.

Working from Dublin I directly managed the Network infrastructure for over 300 servers and 2 SANs in the Dublin datacenter with an emphasis on 99.9% uptime. The servers were serving dynamic load balanced internet sites with multiple database driven content. During this time I also supervised the work of the Engineers at the Dublin site. I worked closely with the US organisation co-ordinating patch release, maintenance and upgrades. In this role I was responsible for all invoicing, budgeting, and vendor management for the EU datacenter.
