Feelgood Communities CIC is a community and corporate wellbeing organisation, delivering trainings and workshops including Laughter Yoga, icebreakers and seminars, and activities based on laughter, the breath, creative writing and community wellbeing.

The Laughter Championships celebrates our joyfulness, our laughter for health, our happiness, and building stronger communities together. In 2019 we ran a project in care homes in Wales, supported by Nick Andrews at Swansea University. Out of this came our toolkit, in Welsh and English, on laughter and playfulness to help wellbeing and happiness. Well, laughter releases ENDOLPHINS. EnDolphins have a dual PORPOISE of natural pain reducer, and happy hormone. And one the EnDolphins and Porpoises are involved, the next step is WALES.

Newly self-employed in 1996, I created an income through my hobbies! This included the roles of playwright, performance poet, photographer. workshop leader, shiatsu practitioner and laughter facilitator.With spoken word, I was part of Year of the Artist in 2000, associate writer at greenroom Manchester from 2001-2004, won playwriting and poetry competitions, toured a play a grandma with HIV around England and Wales, and another about a man seeking asylum around the UK, and had a play performed in Accra, Ghana; and continue with spoken word to this day! Here is where I gained insights into business, marketing, consultancy and the corporate sector.My job started as a Systems Engineer in Technical marketing, and moved onto project work and consultancy at client sites. Much of my work was with customers in the financial sector in the City of London. I was also Knowledge Based Systems specialist in the very early days of AI.
