In this role I was responsible for the vision, development and supervision of all exhibition spaces, indoors and out, and the interpretive materials used throughout the museum. I directed the exhibitions program, borrowing compelling exhibitions from other museums and developing exhibitions internally. Touring these exhibitions to other venues nationally and internationally helped Crystal Bridges achieve its goal to provide greater access to American art to all.
I served on the Executive Committee and was co-chair of the Emerging and Multicultural Professionals Committee. I enjoyed mentoring and supporting emerging museum professionals of all backgrounds and working with museum colleagues from all over the state as part of the CAM board. We advocated for California museums and cultural organizations with state legislators in Sacramento.
