Robin managed four concurrent projects to upgrade and merge the AXA and AMP Salesforce CRM environments into one enterprise system, ensuring full functionality and data is maintained for both AXA and AMP users and financial advisers. This was a time critical project on a tight budget with limited remote resources. This involved managing teams in both Melbourne and Sydney, working closely with senior stakeholders, PMO and steering committees while focusing on the high level of technical detail within the projects.

This involved being together 45 projects into one delivery, meeting the needs of many international clients while bring together a growing team and mentoring the Project Managers Team. Introduced a project methodology to the company and chaired the international steering committee meetings.

These projects were very strategic to the business and needed to be implemented quickly and at times very complex. Robin work with many areas within UniSuper and interfacing directly with the ATO to ensure legal compliance.

Triad v8 dealt with upgrading the TRIAD software and supporting infrastructure for various business areas within the Bank.The project included upgrades to the Triad infrastructure, software configuration and customer accounts data migration, involving 6 applications, Robin led the team of 8 Project Managers and 40 staff located in Melbourne and India.

Robin led the Data Migration and Data Quality Phase 1 and Phase 2 teams. This project was part of a much larger Program of work totalling $400mil and involving over 200 people. The Program migrated the Sensis data from many disparate legacy systems (4000+ tables) into the replacement system. The management of the project required working with many layers of the organisation and the vendor of the replacement system. This was a challenging project with many scope changes and undefined requirements. The project was completed to the clients’ satisfaction, on time and within budget.

Managed a KAZ project to shut-down the entire KAZ data centre (400+ servers) and rewire the Melbourne Central building to upgrade the power source to the 43rd floor. This project required special attention not only to the management of the Data Centre shut-down and the re-start procedures, but with internal clients, external clients with 24x7 SLA’s, building owner, other building tenants, electricians, building planners and power providers. This project required complex infrastructure knowledge and strong Stakeholder Management and negotiation skills.

Senior Project Manager – Sales Force Automation Project (6 months)As Senior Project Manager Robin managed a team of analysts and third party developers to successfully create a customised Sage CRM application.Closely managed the business representatives to create two applications suitable for the Mayne Sales Teams. The solution provided a corporate Customer Information System to support Customer Relationship and Profitability Management capabilities, with final implementation including 450 remote sales representatives across Australia using a number of platforms including Palm pilots.Provided client support during changing business structures while maintaining budget and timelines.Program Manager – Legal Company Name Change Project (6 months)Robin managed a team of 12 Project Managers and 26 developers overseeing the upgrade of 155 IT systems within Mayne Nickless. Within five platforms implemented across 800 sites throughout Australia.Working closely with the Mayne Legal Department to minimise the legal implications. Managed technical and people issues with very limited budget, time & resources and successfully completed the project to the client’s satisfaction.
