Lead and direct Risk Management and Human Resource functions for nine branches of the Ozarks Regional YMCA including liability, risk assessment, recruitment, comp and benefit strategy, employee engagement, performance management, and compliance.RISK MANAGEMENT- Oversee Risk Management for the region including work comp, liability, property, and casualty for 10 branches at eight locations serving over 20,000 members.- Maintain risk management controls through documentation, training, and analytics utilizing sound knowledge of various risk analysis techniques, and management methods.- Conduct investigations, analyze results, and advise on accident and injury claims.- Develop and interpret Personnel Policy, Business, and Safety Policy Manual.- Respond to and counsel employee grievances.- Conduct investigations into sexual harassment, discrimination, and employee relation claims, document, analyze outcomes, and file claims.HR OPERATIONS- Oversee all recruitment and retention functions including marketing, screening profiles, interview evaluation, and conducting employee orientations at an executive level staff.- Develop compensation and benefit design strategy that complies and best serves the needs of our staff. Facilitate annual open enrollment, including educating and communicating with staff.- Identify and develop strategic partnerships with vendors, brokers, internal stakeholders, and claims representatives. - Lead the Safety Initiative, developed in 2019 lowering our work comp medical claims by 70% in one year and our EM by 44% over three years, ultimately saving our organization $35,000+ annually in insurance premiums.PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT- Conduct training needs analysis to identify training and development gaps. Perform evaluations and follow up with action plans.- Write and deliver performance improvement and coaching plans.

Coordinate Staff & Faculty Recruitment, Onboarding, and conduct weekly new hire Orientations.Provide Supervisor Training for staff and student supervisors.Supervise Student Employee Payroll: Update contracts, orient new employees, and develop procedures. Write, edit and implement HR policies and procedures.Manage Worker’s Compensation.
