In addition to selling their VoIP software systems to other telephony companies, IPsmarx operated their own system. I ran such a system.Specific Responsibilities:+ Oversee Voice-over-IP (VoIP) Termination System:- Strive for 100% up-time- Troubleshoot minor technical issues myself or liaise with in-house technical support for major issues+ Manage extensive costing database system: - Constant price updates for every area code in (almost) every country of the world- Pricing changes from providers and/or for clients+ Client relations: - Provide excellent customer service in an environment where issues arose often- Deliver maintenance, pricing, and general information updates to client database - Troubleshoot client-side technical issues + Provider relations:- Process incoming costing updates- Ensure endpoint quality- Negotiate rates- Ensure accuracy of data+ Business development:- Convert leads- Execute direct marketing campaigns- Expand existing client business

As a co-op, MEC sells only to customers who hold a lifetime membership, which is technically a share and can be purchased by anyone for $5. MEC is notable for its commitment to environmental protection and promoting a healthy, active, outdoor lifestyle.Following my time as a frontline staff member, I took over this management position on an interim basis to cover a maternity leave.
