Served as advisory board member for Rolla technical college, Southwestern Illinois College, and St. Louis Community College at Forest Park. Coordinated clinical rotations for 5 educational programs.Performed applicant interviews and collaborated with Talent Acquisition to hire qualified candidates. Updated Asthma and COPD required documentation and action plans for patient discharge. Organized and participated in New RN Orientation, panel interviews, health and career fairs, training of physician & nursing personel, employee skills, continuing education units for staff, community asthma support group, Asthma and COPD inpatient education program, COPD research project, and committees such as Unit practice, COPD readmissions, hospital forms, evidence based research and the Center for Diversity and Cultural Competence hospital trainings.
