One of my biggest passions in my career is in facilitating and leading change. In order to do this successfully, I have placed a constant focus on self-mastery and successfully collaborating with others by understanding and applying organizational change methodologies. My extensive experience is in the healthcare environment, working clinically at the bedside, in leadership, and in a system role as Program Manager of Clinical Performance Improvement. I am a champion of Just Culture, TeamSTEPPS, Outcomengenuity's Highly Reliable Outcomes, and incorporate these practices along with, lean facilitation, project management, and cultural competency to lead and/or support developmental, transitional, and transformational change. A few examples of the wide circle of PI, quality & safety programs and/or initiatives I am involved in are: helping lead the System Collaborative Practice Council that works to standardize care with evidence based and best practices across all Health Service Organizations (HSO’s), Just Culture training and implementation, designing and facilitating high performing team training, development and sustainment of a System recall, alert, and notification team and processes. My strengths are in building relationships with people, bridging the gap between services, while supporting behaviors, attitudes, policies, and structures which are customer centric, inclusive, demonstrate safety and effectiveness, and promote a high value health care experience. I am also highly engaged in the Missouri Society for Respiratory Care serving in the role of Board Secretary.
