I am a Venture Capital Professional, worked in both sides of startup investment process. I worked with VC firms and accelerators investing in Pre-Seed, Seed and Series A stage startups globally. Current focus industries now are in Fintech, HR tech, Insurtech, EduTech, Analytics, Logistics, AI/Big Data, Hospitality, B2B, Enterprise Saas, and Crypto, from my industry agnostic approach many years early on. I helped starups on their fundraising and growth strategies. Having been on both sides of the table last 15 years, I have a long track record of producing and investing in successful startups. I understand what is needed to be fundable and to become successful, regardless of which side I am helping.Recently as a Venture Partner at Newchip Accelerator, I supported fundraising strategies for portfolio companies and built quarterly SPV investments through Journey Venture Partners. While managing my team and over 175 portfolio companies from Pre-seed to Series A, I helped them to secure venture funding over 103mil (missing some data), raising from $65k to $40mil.Prior to joining Newchip, I was at Expert Dojo International Accelerator where I led startup investments in the Asia region. I also have consulted startup CEOs regarding building values and growth strategy through my consulting firm, Atalanta Ventures. Early in career, I served as the Investment Screening Director for Tech Coast Angels, where I facilitated investments of $250mil in 150+ portfolio companies throughout the entire investment process. Subsequent to my tenure at Tech Coast Angels, as the Venture Consultant, I continued to help entrepreneurs at Startup UCLA accelerator and at Blackstone Launchpad at UCLA’s entrepreneurship program.
