As a key member of the Global Engineering Team, I provide support for the specification, design, and implementation of production and R&D equipment for Transitions Optical, both locally and abroad. I work with a cross-functional team of engineers, scientists, technicians, and safety personnel designing the equipment for next-generation production lines. With my focus on curing equipment and technology, I conceptualize, design, build, and test equipment using local machine shops, in-house surplus equipment, and additive technology. These test equipment ultimately become the blueprint for future builds. With a dotted line to R&D, I am co-leading the design and development of new-technology processes and systems that will cut costs, increase equipment reliability and robustness, and allow for a more EH&S-friendly workplace.
