I am an Senior Executive Account Manager for large and national employer groups at Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Iowa. Joining the organization in 2014, I have nearly 20 years of experience in the employee benefits industry. 7 of those years were with Principal Financial Group were I analyzed claims for large self-funded employer groups, projected future costs, set pricing and assessed risk. Additionally, I worked with the sales team in acquiring new business, coordinating finalist presentations and leading the implementation of new groups.My remaining industry experience was spent in the consulting arena where I analyzed carrier proposals, facilitated vendor negotiations, delivered annual product reviews and provided education on the Affordable Care Act.I have my Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Iowa State University and am licensed to sell health, life, and property/casualty insurance in Iowa.
