This team of over 200 professionals managed major accounts and small accounts through our network of Mark's Stores, distribution facilities, embellishment centers and mobile stores.Accomplishments included:Our Team delivered double digit sales growth year over year from 2009 to 2013, with EBT of 30%. This was done by developing and executing a new strategy that included organizational transformation, direct sourcing and a focus on new wholesale, bulk uniform business.In 2010/2011 opened Mark’s first overseas office in Dubai, UAE selling safety apparel and footwear through a network of distributors throughout the Middle East, North Africa and the Caspian Region. This included company setup, trademark registration, supply chain setup, distribution agreements and hiring a General Manager.

Officer of Mark’s Work Wearhouse and key member of the Corporate Management Team (CMC) that took MWW from a 120 store chain with revenue of just over $100Million in 1996 to 385 stores coast to coast, $1+ Billion in revenue and more than five times earnings growth. This included the building and execution of three major re-branding strategies.From 2008-2013 completed the buyback of 16 Mark’s franchises, the acquisition and integration of two embellishment companies and one custom uniform company as well as the management of the remaining franchise operations.

Built and launched the Mark’s Ethical Sourcing Program (2004-2005) and participated in the creation of the not-for-profit organization, Fair Factory Clearinghouse, on behalf of the Retail Council of Canada and the National Retail Federation (USA). Sat as a founding member on the Board of the FFC for 4 years.As VP of Corporate Development have evaluated close to 20 potential mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships, and have helped developed three new store concepts.

The award was presented for replacing the MWW store IT infrastructure with open based systems. This saved the company 30% on new store openings, 50% on infrastructure maintenance and $400,000 dollars in licensing fees.
