Provides strategic direction in support of the business development activities of designated clinical service lines or business unit(s). Directs all marketing research activities, including the strategic design and implementation of research studies to improve the organization’s understanding of its consumers, patients and referring physicians and provides additional data analysis to the marketing department in order to improve the effectiveness of advertising and marketing strategies and campaigns. Specific responsibilities include: • Database Management. Manages and maintains the development and integration of patient, physician, consumer and market data to support customer relationship management initiatives, referral analyses and market assessments. • Dashboards. Develops, manages and distributes reports that demonstrates established goals, measures and reports outcomes and impact of marketing strategies and initiatives. • Brand and Reputation. Monitors image of health system and clinical service lines to help inform business strategy as well as supports ad hoc quantitative and qualitative testing of creative concepts.• Market Research. Directs and implements the development of primary and secondary research including methodology, sampling design, implementation and quantitative and qualitative analysis, with the purpose of identifying key customers, bringing clarity to their preferences, attitudes and desires to inform product viability and communication strategies. • Market Segmentation and Customer Engagement. Develop strategies and identify highly targeted audiences to build business, and increase referrals to Penn’s specialty providers and entities. Provide support to direct mail and digital marketing strategies with target audience development.• Staff Management. Supervises and motivates marketing staff to ensure productivity is maximized and specified goals and quality standards are met.

Girls on the Run is a transformational physical activity based positive youth development program for girls in 3rd-8th grade. We teach life skills through dynamic, interactive lessons and running games. The program culminates with the girls being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5k running event. The goal of the program is to unleash confidence through accomplishment while establishing a lifetime appreciation of health and fitness.The Board Chair is responsible for fully supporting the mission of GOTR. Additional responsibilities include: support and coordinate with the Executive Director, serve as liaison between board and Executive Director, ensure effective organizational planning and resource management, increase community awareness, and fundraising.
