The Board of Directors sets policy priorities that reflect the concerns of municipal governments and affiliate members. It meets quarterly to develop policy positions on key national municipal issues.During the quarterly meetings, the various standing committees meet to discuss and develop policy positions on these key issues. These recommendations are then forwarded to the Board of Directors who discuss and adopt the recommendations.

The Committee focuses on policies and programs related to infrastructure, public transit, mobility, transportation, rail safety, telecommunications, finance and procurement, Canada Post, international trade and municipal finance and autonomy.🔹 Advocating at the local, national and provincial levels for the New Municipal Growth Framework.🔹 Working with the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce to advocate for support of the New Growth Framework with the Ontario Chamber of Commerce and Canadian Chamber of Commerce.

As a City Councillor in St. Catharines, Robin channels her passion for community building into actionable strategies for creating a more equitable, liveable, and sustainable city. Her dedication to public engagement and her strategic approach to governance inspire positive change and foster a sense of belonging among residents.🔹Helped to establish the first Regional and Municipal taskforce focused on the issues facing downtown - Downtown St. Catharines Community Safety and Well Being.🔹Seconded Mayor Siscoe's motion to remove the Private Watson statue as part of the City of St. Catharines comittment to Truth and Reconciliation.🔹Worked with city staff to establish the Neighbourhood Microgrants program to support grassroot efforts to connect and engage the community.🔹As a member of the City's Budget Standing Committee, helped deliver the city's first multi-year budget.

Tourism St. Catharines is a not-for-profit corporation, governed by a Board of Directors, with St. Catharines City Council as the sole member of the corporation. The purpose of Tourism St. Catharines is to promote the City to attract tourists and visitors, generate overnight stays and associated economic spin-offs.
