Robin founded the award-winning executive search firm MeeDerby in 1988 which serves the staffing industry and workforce solutions ecosystem and today serves as CEO. Robin led her tenured team to revenue growth of 13.5% in 2023, 6% in 2022 and over 80% in 2021. She is an ardent supporter of remote officing, and has led MeeDerby remotely for over 15 years. An advisor to the Women’s Business Collaborative’s staffing work stream, Staffing Lady Leaders, a volunteer leader at the American Staffing Association and involved with an informal DE&I group, Robin mentors, speaks, writes and contributes on issues of pay equity, gender parity, women and minority participation in the staffing industry. The real thread of Robin's career has been putting people to work. At first it was public service oriented - running a Summer Youth Employment Program to find jobs for young people who were economically disadvantaged and under the poverty line. She then moved to the private sector and transitioned her“putting people to work” skills to the staffing industry. Seven years later Robin became an entrepreneur by starting MeeDerby. MeeDerby has been slowly growing for more than 35 years now, to the point that they are the leading search firm for the staffing industry.
