I could mention my education and years of experience doing this and that in this section, but that is nicely displayed below, please scroll. To those who did not scroll let me tell you a little about myself (Readers Digest version). I found out early on that not all things go as planned. If you started college pursing one degree and graduated with something completely different, you are familiar with this life lesson. I had a plan but I had no control over the economy, the job market or hiring managers inability to take a chance on a new graduate. What I did have control over was how I would react. This was an opportunity to leap out of my comfort zone and do something bold. I moved 3000 miles away, went back to school and learned a lot about myself. That adventure resulted in 2 more degrees under my belt, life lessons of struggling but not giving up, learning from failure and understanding it's okay to change course. I moved back to my hometown when it was time to change course. I completed my organizational experience and received my graduate degree. I was the first student to present my graduate project via Skype, which at the time was not the norm. Jobs came slow but I was determined to keep going, nothing was just a job. I learned what I would tolerate and when to walk away. I understood that moments of disappointment were just that, moments. A moment for which was not to keep me down but rather to be motivation to keep going. I choose to stay positive, viewing discomfort as temporary. Remember: "Why fit in, when you were born to stand out!" ~ Dr. Seuss
