A recent graduate of Biomedical Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, with a passion for engineering design, problem solving, and sustainability. Led a research and development project on flax-fiber reinforced polymer matrix composites (PMCs), innovating a novel consolidation technique and initiating the exploration of flax-based sustainable composites at the university.Also possesses strong leadership, communication, and management skills, stemming from over eight years of teaching and guiding in the outdoor education industry. Currently works as a special project manager, instructor, and guide at Boreal River Rescue, where he instructs and facilitates whitewater rescue courses, coordinates logistics for multi-day rafting expeditions and rescue courses, and collaborates with nonprofit organizations to engage diverse and underrepresented youth in experiential learning trips. Seeks to advance sustainable engineering practices in the outdoor industry and beyond.
