Robin Zander opened Robin's Cafe (on 3 weeks) notice to support the very different communities that make up the San Francisco Mission district neighborhood. As a service-based organization served not only excellent food and drink, but the quality connection that makes up a quality food-service experience. The cafe was sold in late 2018 (on Craigslist), and is still open for service today.

Socos Labs is dedicated to “maximizing human potential” by distributing the product Muse to underserved communities. Additionally, Socos Labs conducts research on the efficacy of Muse and other systems of maximizing potential of children, students, and/or business professionals. This includes, but is not limited to, the design and development of collaborative, open source software, provision of services, sharing of documentation and best practices, and scholarly activities.

Robin was the 1st employee and Director of Operations at Socos LLC, a cutting-edge educational company which applies cognitive modeling to create adaptive, personalized educational technology. Founded by visionary technologist Vivienne Ming, PhD., Socos has received extensive media attention including from the New York Times, Forbes, The Atlantic, and O Magazine which called Socos "one of the nation's most intriguing educational start-ups."​

Robin was a member of BJ Fogg's persuasive technology lab. He studies the intersection of dance and behavior change, and worked with the lab to study the concept of "change together."

Brought on to management consulting firm VI Creative to project manage the implementation of a new product and related website. Role grew into direct B2B sales with team leads at HP, Intel, Xerox, etc., managing internal team of 9 employees, bringing new product and service offerings to market, and optimizing existing sales strategies.
