Functions as Managing Principal of the general partnership, overseeing and directing a team of nine, including quant developers, head of operations, senior credit analyst, head of marketing, operations analysts, and other cross-functional team members.Selected Accomplishments:- Functioned as key negotiator on business and legal during the establishment of 15 separate loan purchase and service agreements for each investment entity, developing contacts with direct lending platforms outlining warranties and capital.- Conducted primary diligence on 40+ direct lending platforms and service providers within consumer, SME, student, and real estate sector for lending opportunities and equity investments.Key Responsibilities:- Operate as point person for investor contact, managing relationships with existing and potential investors by providing regular updates on fund strategy and deployment, diversification, industry developments, and market opportunities via monthly newsletter and direct contact.- Deploy capital in alignment with risk-reward ratios, analyzing platforms or originators from consumer credit, conducting full scale, end-to-end due diligence, lead generation, underwriting, and servicing while assessing ability to efficiently absorb capital.- Coordinated and negotiated legal transactions surrounding fund entity organizations, and warehouse debt facilities while providing structure for securitizations, loan purchasing, and sales agreements in collaboration with third party or opposing counsel. - Evaluated consumer credit market and interest rate changes to identify potential leveraged facilities for use against existing assets to enhance returns, meeting needs of potential loan buyers, investment bankers, and large capital securitization buyers throughout transactions.
