We provide expertise to non-profit partners in all areas of fundraising including capital campaign planning and implementation, development program assessments, major gift strategy and special projects. We help build strong fundraising teams through executive recruitment, staff training and coaching services.

Provide capital campaign and strategic philanthropic planning counsel to healthcare and other clients. Services include conducting methodical campaign feasibility studies for clients to determine capital campaign readiness and predict outcome; planning and directing capital campaigns and; providing strategic philanthropic planning by evaluating philanthropy programs and providing clients with a roadmap to become high performing fundraising enterprises.

Responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of a major gift portfolio of 150 prospects in various stages of the philanthropic continuum. Worked collaboratively with clinical staff to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward donors. Successfully moved annual donors to major gift donors in order to fund special hospital initiatives. Implemented new planned giving program and increased the legacy society membership. Worked with special donors to host cultivation house parties in order to increase awareness of hospital and encourage giving. Creatively engaged and informed donors through hospital tours, meetings and other avenues.

Provided major gift fundraising leadership for the Department of Otolaryngology.

Philanthropy is an organic process that revolves around the donors interests and passions. To that end, I worked with physicians, administration and donors to foster the teaching, research and patient care mission of Mass. Eye and Ear.

Responsible for fundraising, community relations, volunteer services, pastoral care services and dietary services.* Developed and launched the health system's first philanthropy program in September 2005; in three years acquired 1,013 donors, raised $460,560 in annual, capital and restricted funds and increased database of donors and prospects from 189 to 2,229.* Created and implemented fundraising events including an International Food Festival and Auction; re-organized the hospital's Light A Life event to successfully reverse the campaign's declining income.* Authored foundation and corporate grant proposals.* Created and launched a planned giving program.* Created and implemented new branding and logo for the health system.* Organized a community benefit program.* Developed and implemented community outreach programs including an annual health fair and free flu shot clinic, Cancer Survivor's Day celebration and a series of educational seminars.* Secured exposure in local and regional media markets.* Managed communications crisis.* Developed and launched a formalized volunteer program.* Developed and launched a formalized pastoral care program.* Redesigned and launched new website and was awarded a national "Best of the Web" Award.

Responsible for state-level planning, implementation and evaluation of fundraising sources. Managed an 11-person department and co-managed state operations.* Raised $2.4 million exceeding the state fundraising goal of $1.9 million.* Implemented 4 new Relay for Life events.* Raised the most per capita in the United States through Making Strides Against Breast Cancer events.

Identified, cultivated and solicited planned gifts including bequests, charitable gift annuities, remainder trusts, retirement plans, insurance and other assets.* Exceeded FY02 and FY03 goals of $750,000 in documented planned gifts.* Solicited and closed the NE Division's first gift of real estate in exchange for a charitable gift annuity.* Selected to participate in ACS Nationwide Talent Pool -- a two year Leadership Development Program.
