I oversee the external communications function for this statewide economic development corporation, including all digital marketing, social media, outreach initiatives, advertising and special events. Efforts are targeted to small business owners and fledgling entrepreneurs, as well as public and private agencies, organizations, and companies that share our small business development mission.

Responsible for a broad range of consulting services to a B2B/B2C public relations and marketing firm. Specific services include media planning , social media, and competitor research.

Responsible for building and marketing a robust portfolio of online and live activities for the continuing education division of the largest free-standing health sciences university in the country.

Responsible for oversight and execution of all communication functions on behalf of a 518-bed urban academic medical center and its faculy/medical staff. Throughout tenure, department size varied from two professionals to eight at its peak (including an advanced practice nurse) with annual marketing budgets ranging from less than $100,000 to $2 million annually. Recipient of 34 state, national and international awards for marketing, crisis communications, advertising, and website development, including five national highest-achievement awards in 2005 for University Hospital’s website.
