Successful proposals submitted to private foundations and government agencies, including the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, Carnegie Corporation of New York, Getty Foundation, U.S. Department of State and Library of Congress.- Developed and managed the inaugural two years of the Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) Program funded by the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. As member of the Senior Management Team, oversaw program in subsequent years as the budget grew to over $9million and student participation reached over 500 annually. - Developed and organized the outreach project funded by Carnegie Corporation of New York to raise the visibility of the CAORC network among select U.S. colleges and the general public throughout the U.S.- Developed and organized research fellowship programs for U.S. and Foreign Scholars.- Managed program reporting to funders and responded to programmatic inquires.- Managed the development of an evaluation system spanning CAORC’s 24 member centers. Organizational Management:- Worked closely with Executive Director and Deputy Director as part of the Senior Management Team (SMT). - Developed strategic planning with the SMT based on programmatic and financial analyses and projections in order to integrate all programs and projects into CAORC’s mission.- Presented program reports to Board of Directors.Outreach, Advocacy, and Constituency Building:- Created and maintained organization’s website.- Designed publicity materials.- Represented organization at scholarly organization and association meetings.- Assisted Executive Director with legislative advocacy and constituency building duties.- Assisted scholars with the establishment of new centers.

Assisted EST Counselor, planned visits of State Department Officers, attended meetings with British government officials, university department heads and non-profit organization leaders and prepared written correspondences to Washington about these meetings and S&T events in the UK.

Assisted EST Counselor, researched and prepared introductory reports on Italian Government programs for future visits of EPA and NSF officials. Reviewed and summarized materials in Italian and English and conducted site visits to remediation sites and S&T Centers of Excellence for these reports.

Member of undergraduate research group that focused on the European Union, immigration, and religion and society. Provided ancillary data and research for book being written by the supervising professor. Co-coordinator of group for one semester. Research conducted mainly on the Internet and in the University library.
