He began playing drums at the age of two and was playing on the legendary Beale St. of Memphis, TN by the age of three. Through his dedication to his craft, Robinson has been fortunate to gain an understanding of his craft that has helped him grow as a person alongside growing as a musician. As a teacher, he likes to remind his students that it's more than just drumming. It's a self-mastery tool. It can, and will, teach you about yourself and life if you let it.Robinson's versatility, professionalism and feel for music has landed him in the drum seat for Grammy winners and nominees, DOVE Award winners, Blues Blast and Blues Music Award nominees, and has placed him in front of many audiences nationally and internationally.
