Human Resoirces Business Partner for CVS Pharmacy Retail Division. Responsible for 350 CVS Retail Pharmacy locations across 11 states in the West Division. Strategic Advisor for areas including staffing and talent strategy, diversity, engagement, operational guidance, leadership development and ensuring key business initiatives are implemented as they impact people.

Responsible for ensuring HR practices, legal compliance, employee relations, and executive development for a multi-state region. Partner with leadership in the planning, consulting and execution of strategic people initiatives for multi-disciplined corporate staff, 110 franchisees, 10,000 employees and nearly 600 locations in: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska. -Provide strategic HR Business Partner support to leadership, staff and HR functional staff in talent acquisition, compensation, coaching and performance management, resolution of issues, retention strategies and career development -Partner with cross functional teams to drive sales, guest counts, customer service and people results through execution of initiatives - Influence people strategy by partnering with business leaders to identify, prioritize and build organizational capabilities-Trusted advisor for regional leadership and staff on critical business issues such as labor relations, employee engagement, talent acquisition and performance management.-Facilitate and lead the Northwest Diversity Council. Consult and coach diversity networks on the importance of diversity/inclusion and its linkage to the business

Employee on boarding, development, needs assessment, compliance and training. Responsible for investigations, conflict resolution, employee communications, and management coaching.Partner with executive leadership on all human resource issues to include; policies, legislation processes and practices; development of personnel, annual reviews, and compensation planning.

Partnered with franchise owners through coaching & consulting to help them maximize organizational capability & improve business results. Built strong working relationships with franchise owners and their staff and engaged restaurant level diagnostics to drive operational excellence, sales, and cash flow.

Provided leadership, coaching, and strategic direction to assigned restaurants. Responsible for people development, restaurant operations, and long-term sales growth and profitability.

Facilitated leadership training for management, franchise owners and corporate staff throughout the Pacific Northwest. Created and deployed various projects and workshops including the Learning Management System (LMS), new course curriculum and Franklin Covey Time Management skills. Received the Training Excellence Team Award and the Northwest Region Team Player Award.

Coordinated across departments and collaborated with suppliers to create and deliver regional training sessions for new products and operational updates. Awarded the Northwest Region Stars of the Northwest.Implemented food safety procedures to comply with state and federal mandates. Participated on the Pierce County Food Safety Board.
