KEY CONTRIBUTIONS:As Clinical Research Associate (2005-2009):• Played vital role in the management of ground-breaking drug trial coordination and enrollment. Team improved out-of-hospital cardiac arrest survival rates from <30% to >50% for individuals receiving hypothermia treatment. Ranked as one of Top 3 enrolling sites in country.• Organized the Beaumont Cardiac Arrest Survivor Dinner, a program to publicize the need for early bystander intervention in cardiac arrest and describe innovations in emergency cardiac care. Assisted in event planning. Attendees included medical personnel and trial survivors.• Coordinated federally funded trial to evaluate mechanism of injury component of the trauma triage criteria. Built and led team of volunteers and paid staff to cover 24 hours a day.As Escort/Patient Transporter, Department of Emergency Medicine (2003-2005):• Transported patients between departments and for diagnostic testing.• Represented Escorts on Emergency Center Professional Nurses Council. • Performed monthly scheduling of transportation staff.
