A joint venture between Woh Hup and Obayashi Singapore had been awarded a $1.57 billion contract to build Changi Airport's Project Jewel and carry out expansion works for Terminal 1. Project Jewel, to be largely built on the 3.5 ha carpark site facing T1, will be a 1.4 million square feet complex with retail outlets and airport services. Designed by renowned architect Moshe Safdie, it will feature a distinctive dome-shaped facade made of glass and steel.

ER337 Upgrading of Underground Link between Orchard MRT & Tang PlazaThe ION Orchard Link is a 35-metre underground walkway that provides seamless access to pedestrians coming from Scotts Road and Orchard Road to ION Orchard and the Orchard MRT station. The new link connects ION Orchard to the Orchard Road underpass across Scotts Road leading to the Marriott Hotel exit. With ION Orchard Link, shoppers can now enter ION Orchard Basement 2 via two entrances on Scotts Road and one entrance on Orchard Road.
