I am a software engineer with expertise in building functional and efficient code in React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript. My experience spans working across the stack on content delivery services for large systems while continually enhancing my backend engineering skills to delivering delightful client side experiences. My career journey began with attending hackathons and winning competitions, leading to positions at IBM Design, Apple, Bloomberg, and Jet.com. While in my internships I had many notable achievements including:- Winning 2nd place in an Apple Store pitch competition (my team has gone on to do amazing things) -- I presented to the apple C-suite Phil Schiller, Apple built our idea the next year.- Presenting at SXSW with IBM Design and Weather Underground as an IBM Design intern. My team was mentored and lead by Devin O'Brian, we had an opportunity to launch our app to the world and IBM C-Suite at SXSW.- Launching marketing pages in my hometown of Baltimore in the coldfusion language... this was my first gig... it was unpaid, I'm proud of it.I thrive on staying current with the latest technologies and trends by participating in communities, attending conferences, and creating new apps for fun. Recently, I have been diving into Generative AIs and blending music with code.
