We also invite approximately 100 specially selected teachers from our overseas offices in Canada, Ireland and Australia, not to mention UK graduates who each take part in a number of interviews based on the vacancy requirements from our schools attending.My role is to coordinate and ensure the smooth running of iday by overseeing the entire event. This includes managing school vacancy requirements, managing the teachers that attend, plus the all important and highly meticulous process of scheduling each and every interview to ensure there is an appropriate matching process based on each individual school and teacher requirement. There will be approximately 500 individual interviews at every event, each lasting between 30-45 minutes. I also manage the logistics following on immediately after the event where teachers have the opportunity to teach on school site.My job requires a great deal of professional judgement as well as patience, not to mention extremely meticulous organisational skills whilst working under extreme pressure to ensure each and every iday event runs smoothly. I am very proud to say that iday is the leading specialised education recruitment event in England and it continues to grow with each event.As a consultant working in a highly pressurised environment, I pride myself on professionalism and strong communication skills whilst providing the key role to coordinating every event.
