• Lead all general technical work within the company o Creating and managing CAD files using solid works and AutoCAD for individual parts and large assemblies with 1000s of parts o Technical drawing creation o Completing PPAP documentation and submissions through IMDS o Manufacturing process setup and improvement (inc. lean manufacturing)• Lead multiple large scale, cradle to grave moulding projects o Development of new natural fibre headliners for a specialist car manufacturer o Three piece vacuum formed and moulded floor system for an electric truck manufacturer• Set up 3D printing cell for use in production headliners• Set up production in house of a selection of moulded parts from a previous European supplier, including both projects above, a heavy layer/PET NVH bulkhead, a vinyl laminated carpet and various PET only carpets • Ran simulations to aid design of low weight press stops and press plates needed during the set up of the moulding machine. • Planned, developed, tested and deployed a fully functioning QC mobile application to improve quality at the end of the headliner assembly• First point of contact for multiple customers and suppliers

Started as delivery driver, then promoted to Shift Runner within 2 months. I used to work closely with the Regional General Manager running stores in South Wales as and when required including helping with inspections and making sure all stores are exceeding the brand standard.First to be called in case of absences by store managers in the South Wales area and have managed 5 out of the 6 stores owned by the company at short notice including the highest income store in Bridgend, taking in over £2000 an evening.Other duties included organising rotas, analysing sales patterns, budgeting and ordering supplies for stores, supporting and motivating staff and delivering sales targets on a day-to-day basis.

I worked in the IT department of the firm and gained experience in Support, Projects, Apps & Infrastructure. Throughout my work I found ways to optimise the work I was doing to save time and do the same job much quicker. Part of my work at Baker McKenzie included working on spreadsheets small and large in Excel, using formulas and other advanced features to make the spreadsheet both functional and easily readable. After my internship there I gathered my experiences and delivered a presentation to the department about what I have done and my time there.
