A knowledgeable, trained Oral Historian works closely with patients, family members and staff to coordinate interviews.The primary goal of the Oral Historian is to focus on and gather the patient's story.The Oral History is an opportunity for individuals to share their life experiences, to review memories and to reflect on achievements and disappointments. After the Oral History is completed the audio file is compiled and transcribed and made available to the individual.
