I have been active in the gaming industry for about 5 years. I have fulfilled several roles in those years as a business developer, game scout, editor and brand ambassador. I also started a foundation together with a group of friends where we combine influencing through Twitch and charity’s to raise money for several Dutch charities. My love for gaming started when I was young thanks to my parents introducing me to Nintendo. My interest grew more and I managed to see even more thanks to Dutch Game Garden when I interned there within their Communications department. I have learned a lot over the past years thanks to the different experiences I had during and after my studies. And all that has come together in my current job with Utomik where I fulfill the role as a Content Partner Manager where I am responsible for 50+ content partner relationships. The gaming industry is currently growing and with the rise of indies, VR/AR/XR and AI gaming is going to be even bigger. I lived in Seoul, South Korea for four months and shortly after did my internship in Tallinn, Estonia for six months. I was thrown in an ocean and had to swim to stop drowning. The experience that it gave me was more than amazing.In a trend that has been going around the world, more people are interested in closing borders. In my opinion you have to keep them open. I am somebody that wants to go beyond and innovate and sometimes take a moment to relax and see: where am I this moment?Furthermore, I take a very big lesson from my trip in South Korea. Gratitude.
