As Solution Architect I am responsible at SBM for the development of the overall solution and implementation of the IFS ERP System. I am fulfilling this role within SBM within the program which is responsible for the development of the new solution as well as in the department for the Continous development to improve the part of the solution that is already live. With this combined function in both departments I am responsible to maintain one Global Solution within IFS for whole SBM Offshore

Responsible for the evolution, business mapping and governance of Royal IHC’s digital information backbone for Process conductance and management. Main system in this backbone is the IFS ERP system.

Growth, internationalization, innovation and collaboration are all part of the strategy of Royal IHC. Therefore, it is most important to uniform all processes and the related data structures. This leads to more flexibility and lower costs, which provides IHC to offer more collateral security and shorter lead time to her customers. Therefore Royal IHC launched the ONE IHC Program.To further develop and configure the final solution of the Royal IHC Blueprint within the new IT Tooling,the program started with the Scrum Methodology. For the ONE IHC Program I am Product Owner for several Functional Areas (e.g. SCM, Sell, Service) for the new ERP software. As Product Owner I manage the Product Backlog in cooperation with the Business Process Owners of Royal IHC and prioritize the items on this Backlog.

For the configuration and implementation of the new software several Functional Areas are recognized. Within the Functional Area Procure & Logistics I was responsible for developing all the Business Processes and implementing these processes in the ERP system so it is suitable for all the Business Units of Royal IHC. For this I had close contact with important stakeholders within the company, like the Supply Chain Director of Royal IHC and Purchase & Logistical Managers of the different units.

Royal IHC designs, build and maintains innovative equipment and vessels, working from sea level to ocean floor, for maritime service providers in the offshore, dredging and mining inductries. Royal IHC vessels, equipment and services either separately or in combination.In my function as Business Process Engineer I was responsible for improvement projects within the Business Units IHC Metalix & IHC Piping. The most important project was the development of a logistical management model. After implementing this logistical model the used man-hours per produced ton of steel was decreased significantly.Further I was responsible for two investment projects:• Development and the building of a new automated covered metal plate storage• Implementing a new Steel Profile Production Hall including a Profile Cutting Robot with automatic storage.
