She works well with authors, publishers, and reviewers, and consistently produces high-quality, technically accurate and complete information that's easy to read an understand. When applied to training materials, the result are classes that are informative while being fun. Robin is well-respected by her peers, and can act as both team lead and member. She gets along well with her peers and managers, but her customers particularly seem to appreciate her. She is open and outgoing, and adjusts her speaking and presentation style to whatever works for the group and/or individual. She takes the time to prepare properly, including contingency plans, and it shows. Among my many contacts with Robin was her time as a TEALS volunteer. TEALS places working software professionals in secondary school settings, pairing them with an experienced classroom teacher who may or may not know computer science. Two or three times a week, for a full academic year, Robin prepared lesson plans, lectures, and tests, and traveled for over an hour, each way, to Highline High School in Burien, WA, to participate in this program before starting her regular workday. One of her students was awarded a Microsoft High School Internship, and has since entered the Computer Science program at the University of Washington. Robin is personable, professional, competent, and conscientious. She is a pleasure to work with and has strong foci on both quality and customer satisfaction. I've worked with Robin at multiple companies and alongside her as a TEALS volunteer, and I would happily do so again, in any capacity, should the opportunity arise."
