At my core, I am a strategic leader, a racial justice strategist, and political power builder. I have more than a decade of experience supporting and leading racial justice initiatives at local, state, and national levels. I have deep advocacy experience in policy and legislative change, community organizing, design thinking and inclusive facilitation, research and advocacy, and field training and development. Whether I am working on policy solutions to affordable housing, leading community reentry campaigns, or leading community conversations on environmental justice, I have an unwavering commitment to intersectional racial justice and transformative change.In addition to my advocacy experience, I have dynamic leadership experience. I have led cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams helping to foster cohesion and alignment across teams and programmatic areas. I have led within organizations, on nonprofit boards, and in community roles. Those experiences have taught me the art and science of leadership and the importance of coordinated strategy, collaborative leadership, and a healthy and radically inclusive culture.For the last several years, I have consulted with movement builders, faith communities, activists, and social justice organizations to deepen impact and advance transformative change. As the founder and CEO of Transforming Change, LLC I am called upon and trusted to help individuals and teams grow their capacity to embody and advance change.
