Directed, designed and implemented a weight loss and smoking cessation program for Dr Brian Patterson. Assisted patients with emotional issues underlying addiction, working on short term goals, used evidenced based practice guidelines to implement innovative approaches to nutrition and exercise tailored to my clients needs. During my several months in practice the 3O+ patients lost over 650 pounds but more importantly had dramatically improved A1C levels, decreased LDL, improved HDL and decreased use of medications needed for metabolic syndrome.
