Most of my time at SKY was spent on my graduation project. This one-man-project, with a senior product designer as supervisor, was about designing a physical activity toy for children for the new kids fitness project line of Sky from idea sketch to final CAD model (more about this can be found on fabrikaasje.com). Content of the design project were Planning, Research (e.g. market research, research to the problem and causes), Ideation (e.g. product direction, idea generation, sketching concepts), Concept Development (e.g. patent research, components & ergonomics, materials, user interface, main construction and flow charts) and Detail & Prototyping (Arduino prototype, design proposals, SolidWorks construction, technical drawings).
